Southwest Wings festival, Arizona’s oldest birding festival, is an educational celebration on the diversity of birds, mammals, reptiles and insects in their unique environment—the sky islands of southern Arizona. Field trips, free programs, displays, vendors and information are available every day for your enjoyment. It all takes place right here – in our spectacular high desert environment of Sierra Vista and Cochise County.

Some of the field trips are on Fort Huachuca, an active military base. Click here to learn more about civilian access. If you are an international visitor, contact the City of Sierra Vista Public Affairs Office at least 3 weeks prior to your visit.
