Fairbank was an important transportation hub during the silver boom in and around Tombstone. This guided walk will include the restored schoolhouse, mercantile building, town cemetery, and other remnants of this historic railroad town. Fairbank was the longest-lasting ghost town along the San Pedro, with occupation spanning 1881 to 1972. Learn about the many colorful events and personalities that wove the fabric of the town.

Basic Directions

Fairbank Historic Townsite is located on the north side of Hwy 82, between Whetstone and Tombstone. The parking area is about one-quarter mile east of the San Pedro River.
