Arizona’s wine industry is flourishing in Cochise County with the opening of new vineyards and tasting rooms. The majority of wines produced in Arizona are from Cochise County grapes.

Coronado Vineyards This winery and on-site vineyard offers daily tasting hours. They also serve tapas and wine Thursdays through Sundays. Coronado Vineyards has a variety of unique wines, from a sweet white table wine to a dry red wine, all from Arizona-grown wine grapes grown. http://www.coronadovineyards.com/

Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards offers exclusively estate grown and bottled wine from its 21-acre vineyards in the Chiricahua mountain foothills. Keeling-Schaefer opened its tasting room in downtown Willcox in February 2010. Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards' tasting room is open Thursdays through Sundays. http://keelingschaefervineyards.com/

Carlson Creek Vineyards features wine varietals from the Carlsons, a family owned and operated business. Family members have completed viticulture and winemaking classes at University of California Davis. Their varietals include syrah, sauvignon blanc, sangiovese, chardonnay, and a red blend. Carlson Creek Vineyards' tasting room is located on Railview Avenue in historic downtown Willcox and is open daily. http://carlsoncreek.com/

Lawrence Dunham Vineyards bottles estate wines at their winery in the Chiricahua Mountain foothills. Currently, their wines are available to taste by appointment only. http://www.lawrencedunhamvineyards.com/

A new wine tasting room opened in January 2012 just south of Willcox. Zarpara Vineyards' tasting room is on the “Willcox Bench” – an Arizona premier wine growing region. They began planting vines in 2010. Their tasting flight features hand-selected, hand-crafted, and hard-to-find wines from their neighboring Willcox Wine Country vineyards. Zarpara Vineyard has breathtaking views of the Dos Cabezas Mountains. Open 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., Fridays through Sundays. http://www.zarpara.com/
