Hone your photography skills with Arizona Highways workshops

Do you have an eye for amazing Arizona scenery? If you want to hone your photography skills, you might consider taking one of the photo workshops from Arizona Highways magazine. The workshops are held in some of Arizona’s most picturesque settings and deal with some of the state’s most iconic images (like those found in Cochise County): colorful hummingbirds, Old West towns like Tombstone and the spires of Chiricahua National Monument.

During the workshops, put on by the Friends of Arizona Highways, you’ll get the chance to work with knowledgeable instructors and share your passion for photography with fellow workshop participants. As a result of the workshops, you could also be featured in Arizona Highways’ “Photo of the Day” on the Arizona Highways website. Participants can submit photos and the editors pick one to feature each day. It’s one of the websites you can visit to get your fix for beautiful Arizona imagery.

Another way to share your photos is to visit Arizona Highways’ Flickr photo stream.

Arizona Highways has developed a legacy of great photos during its 85 years. It began publishing in 1925 and is known throughout the country.

Celebrate Cochise County's unique heritage and culture throughout the year.
