The Gleeson Jail was built in 1910 in the copper mining boom town of Gleeson--now a ghost town. The jail has been restored and is now a museum filled with artifacts, newspaper articles, old photos, and memorabilia from Gleeson's hey days.

Basic Directions

We're about a half hour east of Tombstone. From Tombstone, take Fremont St/HWY 80 toward Douglas. Turn left onto Camino San Rafeal. Turn right onto Gleeson Road. Follow Gleeson Rd. to High Lonesome Rd, and turn right. The Gleeson Jail is on the corner.
