Although the Butterfield Overland Stage ran for only 2 years, it was a turning point in American history. This will mark 155 years since John Butterfield’s overland mail and passenger service connected East with West.

  • An official U.S. Post Office Pony Express mail run will take letters on horseback from Benson to Dragoon on Saturday.
  • Vendors and Historic Reenactments will be held at the Benson Museum.
  • The Pony Express Mail Office will open at 10 a.m. and leave from the Museum at high noon.

Fireworks in Lions Park at 8:30 p.m. following Saturday's Rodeo performance.
