The San Pedro River, named one of Last Great Places by the Nature Conservatory, features some of the richest wildlife habitat in the United States and is one of the last free-flowing rivers in the Southwest. The walks are about 1 1/2 to 2 miles long over easy terrain. Please wear appropriate attire for hiking and weather conditions, and bring at least one quart of water per person.
When: 8 AM
Where: Depart from the San Pedro House, 9800 Highway 90, east of Sierra Vista at the river.
Admission: Free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

Basic Directions
From Sierra Vista, head east on Hwy 90 toward Bisbee. Turn right at the sign for the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area.
