See a life size replica of the 1909 Douglas Flyer, an airplane used in the first women's national air race of 1929, the "Women's Air Derby."

The airplane was built by aviation historian Rich Ivansek and funded by Arvin Schultz. Both are aviation historians. The exhibit is on display inside the Douglas Government Center. You can see the life-size replica of the 1909 Douglas Flyer from April 10 through May 25.

On Saturday, May 25, join the historians for closing ceremonies and to watch the award winning documentary, "Breaking Through The Clouds: The First Women's National Air Derby."
