Barbara Teller Ornelas and Lynda Teller Pete, sisters and 5th generation weavers, originally from Two Grey Hills, grew up learning the traditional tapestry weaving of the area. While instructing and demonstrating, these sisters share personal stories and experiences, giving insights into the world of Navajo weaving. At the end of the week you will go home with a one of a kind 8.5” x 10.5” rug.

Price: Members: $1,000 ? Non-members: $1200 Price includes meals, lodging (shared accommodations), the use of a fully prepared loom, and tools. You will only need to purchase your wool for weaving (available at the class for $24-$35 depending on the number of colors you use.) An optional class on warping is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 for an additional $225. A nonrefundable, tax-deductible $200 deposit is due upon registration.
