Join the Friends of the San Pedro River for an interpretive walk at the Murray Springs Clovis site where archaeologists have excavated stone spear points in direct association with the bones of now extinct mammoth and bison. A trained docent will lead the walk and provide information on the Clovis culture that was present in the San Pedro Valley about 13,000 years ago. This walk is about 1/2 mile and will last about an hour and a half. There is one steep incline, so be prepared with good walking shoes.

Please be prepared for the weather and bring drinking water. Meet at the Murray Springs parking area, about 1 mile north of Highway 90 on Moson Road.
