Chiricahua National Monument

  • Chiricahua National Monument is a National Park Service site located on the northeast side of Cochise County. The park’s mild climate is suitable for a wide variety of outdoor activities: day hiking, camping, picnicking, wildlife viewing, birding, nature photography, and star gazing. Stop by the visitor center for exhibits about geology, history, and native cultures in the region.

Coronado National Memorial

  • Coronado National Memorial is a National Park Service site located in the southwest corner of Cochise County. It is a day-use park, open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Exhibits at the visitor center describe the Coronado Expedition, the legacy of Spanish and Native American cultures in the region, and the natural history of Coronado National Memorial. Come see scenic views from Montezuma Pass overlook, hike eight miles of trails, or seek out the many bird species in the canyon.

Douglas-Williams House Museum

  • The Douglas-Williams House is named for the two families that made the house their home for more than 80 years. It includes period rooms honoring the Douglas and Williams families, spaces with regularly changed displays, research library and specialty areas – including a world-class Marty-Dess camera collection and Douglas smelter display.

Fort Bowie National Historic Site

  • Fort Bowie National Historic Site is a National Park Service unit on the northeast side of Cochise County. A unique hike-in park, the visitor center is accessed via the Fort Bowie Trail. The story of Apache Pass and the events that led to the establishment of Fort Bowie are best understood via a 3-mile roundtrip hike from the trailhead on Apache Pass Road. Kartchner Caverns State Park

  • This beautifully diverse park sits at the base of the Whetstone Mountains and offers a wide variety of activities to visitors amid the natural area beauty, and the complex infrastructure found in the park. O.K. Corral

Queen Mine Tour

  • Outfitted in a hard hat, miner’s headlamp and a yellow slicker, thousands of Bisbee visitors descend into the Queen Mine Tour each year—heading underground and back in time. Tour guides, retired Phelps Dodge employees, lead the group 1,500 feet into the mine and recount mining days, techniques, dangers and drama.

Rex Allen Museum

  • Born Rex Elvie Allen (1920-1999), Rex grew up on a homestead 40 miles north of Willcox. Rex was a real cowboy who became the last of the singing cowboys of Western movie fame. Inside the museum, opened in 1989 to honor the famous home-town boy, you’ll see memorabilia from his lifetime success in rodeo, radio, movies, and television.

San Pedro House

  • The San Pedro House is located in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area (SPRNCA) and serves as a visitor center and nature shop. This restored ranch house is operated by the Friends of the San Pedro River. Stop in for maps, area information, and to visit the gift shop. The San Pedro House Trailhead leads to miles of hiking, biking and equestrian paths.

Willcox Historic Theater

  • Willcox Theater and Arts, Studio 138 and the Palace located in adjacent historic buildings, provide live stage programming, arts workshops, STEAM, and digital arts programs. Serving all ages and interests, Willcox Theater and Arts provides a multitude of opportunities to enjoy the arts.
