Aviation and military enthusiasts can enjoy an insightful presentation with historian Erik Berg. Established in the spring of 1942, Douglas Army Air Field was one of Arizona's largest and most important training bases.

While in Douglas, also check out the historic Gadsden Hotel, with its Tiffany stained glass mural and marble staircase. The Border Airport Museum will be open from 2-5 p.m. Here you'll learn about Douglas' important aviation history including Douglas as a stop on the First National Women's Air Derby of 1929.
